UND picks up commitment from running back from Illinois

May 2—GRAND FORKS — The UND football program's 2026 recruiting class has its first running back. Tyler Zdon, of Fox Lake, Ill., gave his verbal commitment Friday to play for the Fighting Hawks. Among Zdon's Division I offers were North Dakota State and Southern Illinois. Zdon, who's 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds, was an all-state honorable mention at Grant High School.
